Web Designers Domain Transfer Guide

Posted by on Friday, June 26th, 2009 at 10:19 am.

Download our free Web Designer’s Guide to transferring domain names. This simple flow-chart style PDF shows web designers how to transfer domain names away from existing hosts into a new location. I made this document for internal use at Creare – but I have made it available to all as it may be quite helpful for web designers who are not that familiar with the domain transfer process for both .co.uk domain names and TLD’s (Top Level Domains). Please click on the graphic below to download the PDF.

The domain transfer guide can also be used to transfer any domain names ending in .uk. Domains ending with .uk are controlled and governed by Nominet. The ‘.com’ TLD transfer guide is also the same for all top level domains including .com, .net and .org. Web designers may find it helpful to print this guide out and put it on their notice board.

If you have any questions about domain transfers, please leave a comment below, and we will endeavor to help.
