Web Designers: Google Chrome Experiments

Posted on on Monday, February 8th, 2010 at 11:11 pm.

Google Chrome Experiments is a unique gallery dedicated to showcasing innovative and playful experiments created by Web Designers using only a hybrid of Javascript, HTML5 & Canvas 3D.

Officially launched by Google just over a year ago, it started off a simple collection of new and fun ways of using Javascript, created by some of the industry’s web developers specifically optimised for Chrome.

Twelve months on, Chrome Experiments is now a vibrant platform for developers around the world to show off their creations, wizardry and the limitless possibilities of modern web standards and ditching the need for clunky plugins.

We’ve hand-picked some of the finest Google Chrome experiments that we’ve enjoyed, which each individually impressed us for their innovative nature and sheer uniqueness.

*Some experiments require the latest versions of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox to work as intended*

SketchPad is a cleverly developed online drawing/paint application. Created using only HTML & Javascript, it opens the imagination to what could be possible if Adobe considered a  fully-functional web version of Photoshop/Illustrator.

BROWSERPONG

CRYSTAL GALAXY
