The power of Twitter

Posted by on Wednesday, April 15th, 2009 at 9:42 am.

As we all know in the internet world, Twitter is becoming an increasing sensation. Ever since I saw Steven Fry talking about Twitter on Jonathan Ross’ show, I knew Twitter was going to become a house-hold name. When I listen to the morning radio, I hear Chris Moyles frequently talking about Twitter and only yesterday I read about the virus or worm attack that a rival web site did to Twitter.

It seems now that I can hardly escape hearing about Twitter on a day-to-day basis. This morning, as I browse through my bookmarked news feeds, I stumbled upon this article:

Crying Out For Moore – By thesun.co.uk

I’m not ashamed to say that I saw ‘Britains Got Talent’ on Saturday night, and I too was uplifted by Susan Boyle’s performance on the show. As the article above shows, courtesy of Ashton and Demi, the whole world is aware of the performace, casuing a global sensation around Susan Boyle.
